The Metropolis 2 project has been investigating the design of UTM systems for highly dense urban environments and researching the effect of the degree of centralization on separation management and is nearing its end. The design, development, and testing phases of the project are completed, and it is time for us to present our results! A demonstration and workshop event will be held on the 14th of September at Valkenburg Airfield in The Netherlands. Attendees will have the opportunity to get introduced to our project, the design parameters, developed concepts, simulation results, and concept evaluation. Demonstration sessions will be conducted using actual drones and will showcase the most important research outcomes.
